Philippine Independence : The result of one's sacrifice, and heroism

After 300 years of Spanish control, Filipino insurgents headed by Emilio Aguinaldo declare the independence of the Philippines during the Spanish-American War. This comes after the Philippines had been under Spanish domination for the previous 300 years. Aguinaldo's hopes for independence were crushed when the United States formally invaded and occupied the Philippines as part of its peace treaty with Spain. The Philippines were liberated from Spanish rule by Filipino rebels and U.S. troops by the middle of August, but Aguinaldo died without seeing his dream realized.

At the ancestral home of General Emilio Aguinaldo in Kawit, Cavite, on June 12, 1898, the "Act of the Proclamation of Independence of the Filipino People" was read aloud. This event took place during the Philippine Revolution. The independence of the country, on the other hand, was not swiftly accomplished. The Philippines' proclamation of independence from Spain is widely regarded as one of the country's most momentous events. During those hundreds of years, the country was colonized by a number of different nations. Imagine that you've gone through a lot of difficult times, but now you've finally earned your freedom. It cannot be put a price on. The nation starts off the celebration by hoisting the national flag at a variety of historically significant locations around the country. At seven in the morning, the President, Vice President, and other officials of the government, along with the Armed Forces and the general public, sing the national song Lupang Hinirang while raising the national flag at Rizal Park or any other national historical site. After then comes the ceremonial of laying the wreath, followed by the address given by the president. Since 2011, this procedure has been continuously carried out.

The social and economic unhappiness of the masses, particularly about land ownership and other agrarian concerns, was expressed in the proclamation of independence. The paper made reference to atrocities committed by members of the Civil Guard, namely those who ordered the killing of detainees under the guise that the inmates were attempting to flee. Emilio Aguinaldo, the leader of the Filipino revolutionary forces, announced the Philippine Declaration of Independence on June 12, 1898 in Cavite el Viejo, in the Philippines. It was a declaration that ended Spain's colonial authority over the Philippines and established the country's sovereignty and independence.
