Lent Season
Lent is a time when many people are not looking forward to it. Instantly, childhood memories of giving oneself chocolates or sitting through the Stations of the Cross came flooding back. Many Christians use words like "sacrifice," "discipline," and "self-denial" to describe Lent as something to be endured rather than as an opportunity for grace and spiritual growth. The most frequent and well-known approach to observe Lent is to abstain from doing something you enjoy doing, such as watching television or eating chocolate, for the duration of the season. Numerous Christians believe that they are making a practical sacrifice in order to reflect on the magnitude of Christ's suffering on our behalf in this manner.
Lent may be a good opportunity to break bad habits that cause us to be lethargic and wicked. The season of Lent, on the other hand, may be a time for us to cultivate healthy habits, such as partaking in sacraments and attending mass on a regular basis. Our family watches the movie "The Bible" throughout Lent season. This film has many important lessons for us, as well as the story of Jesus' sacrifice for us and his death on the cross. We set aside a day each year to celebrate the love of God that was poured out through Christ Jesus on the cross in his death and his victory over death, sin, and Satan through Christ's death and resurrection that provides you with Eternal Life.
In order to prepare the believer for Easter, the season of Lent is marked by prayer, mortification of the body, confession of sins, almsgiving, simplicity of life, and self-denial. This is a season that we must constantly remember to commemorate with our Lord.references: LENT: A SEASON FOR BIBLICAL MEDITATION, uploaded on February 10, 2016, retrieved on March 7, 2022. https://assets.news.americanbible.org/uploads/thumbnails/_825w/lent-a-season-for-biblical-meditation-ash-wednesday-lenten-season-american-bible-society-blog-new.jpg

Yes, I agree that the Lenten Season gives us yet another opportunity reflect on our bad doings, as well as reconciling with Our Father. It is truly a very special time where we are in a roller coaster of emotions, being sad and reflective when Jesus died then being jolly, thankful and celebrated Jesus's reincarnation. Your blog is really informative and delivers the message smoothly, keep up the good work!
