Christmas remains imprinted on our hearts.

COVID spreads through social gatherings, and we are particularly vulnerable over the holiday season, when we may be persuaded to leave our own bubbles to visit our love ones.  We must, however, avoid this temptation and instead choose to remain in our own homes this holiday season. It is one of the world's greatest mass migrations, with hundreds of millions traveling to see family members throughout the holiday season and beyond. The restriction on important gatherings, holidays and festivals has an impact on how people commemorate special holidays, including Christmas, which is one of them.

In previous years, getting away for the holidays was as simple as get into car and travel or going out of town and visit friends and relatives.  Because of the strict health regulations, we were unable to participate in activities or celebrate holidays in the same way that we had in the past. Because of the restricted activities and social separation, we have less interaction with one another, which gives us a different vibe throughout this special holiday.

Whether there is a pandemic or not, all I really want to do for Christmas is to spend time with my family. I'm looking forward to spending time with my family, eating together, having fun with activities, and sharing Christmas gifts like we have in the past. We'll must be creative and come up with new methods to celebrate and enjoy the Christmas season regardless of the fact that we won't be able to get together in person this year. However, COVID should not have a negative impact on our Christmas celebrations! This Holiday Season, let us share even more hope, peace, joy, and love!

  2. I appreciate your post about Christmas and I agree on your statement about avoiding the temptation in going out and staying at your homes instead especially that the Covid-19 virus is spreading more and more again these past year. Keep it up! Happy holidays, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you :) .
